UMEED IN THE VILLAGES

During the week of 4th to 9th March, the Umeed medical team visited the villages of Batuha, Natt, Kanjhli, Dohla, Palasour, Bhalwan, Daulatpur, Kaheru, Sigligar Basti, Qila Hakima, Kanjla I, Kanjla II, Baradwal, Ruldu Singh Wala, Bangawali, Totapuri Basti, Ambedkar Chownk, Jogi Nath Basti, Roorgarh, Katron, Changli, Issi, Loharmajra, Kheri Jattan, Dashmesh Nagar, Gandhi Basti, GuruNanakpura Mohalla, Ghanour Khurd, Bamal, Jahangir, Issra, Jainpur, Dhadogal, Bazigar Basti, Ram Nagar Basti, Dharampura Mohalla in Halka Dhuri and Harkishanpura, Roshanwala, Phaguwala + Kainchian, Haripura Basti, B’garh, Dasmesh Nagar, B’garh, Guru Teg Bahadur Nagar, Bhawanigarh, Bharo, Shahpur, Kheri Gillan, Sakrodi, Sangatpura, Rai Singh Wala, Bangawali, Thalesh, Gurdaspura  I, Noorpura, Bharaj, Lakhewal, Panwan, Jaulian, Fatehgarh Bhadson, Haripura Basti (Sangrur), Kartarpura Basti (Sng), Bagguwana Basti (Sng.), Dehlewal, Phumanwal, Rajpura, Joginder Basti (B’garh), Gandhi Nagar (B’garh), Ghumhar Basti, Sgr., Akoi Sahib, Rasaldar Channa, Deh Kalan, Basiarkh, Nariangarh, Bhattiwal Khurd, Hareri, Changal, Khilrian, Kalajhar, Harditpura, Balad Kalan, Batriana, Jhaneri, Gharachon I, Kapial, Retgarh, Rampura, Balial, Bhattiwal Kalan, Ramgarh in Halka Sangrur

The total number of patients examined was 6077, of these 3814 were old patients returning for additional medication, while the balance 2263 were first time visitors, total population covered 1,55,779 approx. We are proud to be serving the old, underprivileged and disadvantaged and being part of the rural and community development of Punjab.
